Recycling and Donation Event
Together with Step30 International Ministries and Eden Foundation, we sorted 400+ items of clothing and 200+ pairs of shoes, contributing to the environment through hands-on experience.
Reusable Bag Campaign
The pandemic didn’t cease our sustainability efforts. To reduce the use of disposable bags, we held an event where 425 used bags were donated by employees to local stores in need.
Digital Education for Kids
In Xizhi, Acer collected used computers and resources for disadvantaged students, prompting their passion and skills for technology through our digital lessons.
Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
Acer Employee Bike Challenge
To promote our green initiative of emission reduction, we hosted a cycling challenge in Germany. Through biking, we highlighted the importance of employee health and teamwork.
Lufthansa Climate Support
Our sustainability effort in Europe to offset jet fuel combustion helped reduce 890kg of CO2 emission. Acer is thereby recognized by Lufthansa Airlines as a “Climate Supporter.”
Landfill Cleanup
Partnering with Zero Déchets, we organized a landfill cleanup near Angers, France. Our team collected waste and learned about critical environmental issues within the local area.
Acer Wins Arabia CSR Award
Our efforts in sustainability—recycling, plastic use reduction, and enhancing energy efficiency in office facilities—earned us the Arabia CSR Award for three consecutive years.
Pan-Asia Pacific
E-Waste Collection
With Chak Dang Temple, our employee in Thailand gathered over 1,700 kg of e-waste. These wastes were later recycled and repurposed for future usage.
Mangrove Forest Conservation
In Vietnam, we organized team bonding events—tree planting and family activities—at Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve, enhancing employee’s environmental knowledge.
Student Learning Empowerment
To tackle educational inequality in Thailand, Acer contributed $2600 in funds, along with $1000 raised in donations, to improve Ban Sri Pan School's computer room and water system.
Long-Term NGO Support
In Philippines, we focus on the environment, agriculture, and education. Namely, we nurture disadvantaged youths like Romnick, who later received a full ride to Harvard University.
13 Eco Initiatives
In China, Acer employees self-initiated walking challenges to reduce carbon emissions and upcycled items into unique art pieces, innovatively advancing sustainability.
Virtual Green Energy Donation
In China, our employees leverage the Ant Forest platform to undertake eco- friendly tasks to generate virtual green energy. Nearly 2,800kg of energy is contributed.
“Future of the Earth” Campaign
Chinese Olympic champion Ting-Yu Gao joined us in raising environmental awareness through youth advocates. Our determination drew 18.5 million users to join us in Acer’s green mission.
Pan-America
Gaming & Study Room Sponsorship
Expanding social responsibility efforts in Brazil, we partner with a local NGO, sponsoring gaming and study rooms and donating 60+ Acer tech equipment for the disadvantaged youths.
Computer DIY Workshop
Fostering a passion for tech at a young age, we organize DIY workshops for elementary to middle school students, allowing them to craft their own PCs via defective units we provide.
Acer Join Seed Harvesting
Passionate about climate change, our employees volunteer at Irvine Ranch Conservancy's Native Seed Farm, they restore the habitats through harvesting seeds.
